Our Story

Two people.
One motorcycle.

A different way to live.

For years, motorcycles have taken us farther than most people would ever consider reasonable. Around 50,000 miles a year reasonable.

Eventually we realized we didn’t want the motorcycle trip to be the break from our normal life. We wanted the road to become our normal life.

More than miles. Motorcycles have given us countless roads, but the people, friendships, and communities along the way are what make the journey matter.

So we started making a major change: selling most of what ties us down, simplifying what we own, and building a life that allows us to travel full-time.

2-Up Coast to Coast is the record of that transition and everything that follows. We want to show the beautiful days and the ugly ones, because the things that go wrong usually make the better stories anyway.

Why “2-Up”?

Motorcyclists know the term. Two-up means two people riding the same motorcycle.

For us, it means more than a seating arrangement. It means taking the long way together, solving problems together, and finding out just how far two people can go when they decide to keep moving.
